Maybe next time

It was hot. And it was sticky..................get your mind out of the gutter. I'm talkin' about the weather yesterday for the Azalea Trail Run. I ran in 100% humidity with a temp around 70 under a bright, smily sun for most of the way. My time was 48:58, about a 7:58 average. Nowhere near a PR, but considering the elements, it was about as good as I could expect.
So, now that I'm past the ATR, what's next? Don't really know. Sure, there are a few smaller races in the coming weeks. But then it really starts to get hot down here in L.A. (lower Alabama). Looking ahead to the fall, another marathon may be in the cards. Someplace cool and flat.
Whatever happens, gentle reader (all 3 of you), I'll certainly keep you faithfully informed.
Anyway. Gotta go. Housework to do. Always freakin' something....
Happy trails!

Congrats on the trail race! Very nice time especially in those elements.

I am assuming it was a 10K. That's not all that bad if it was on trails as opposed to pavement. You woulda blown my socks off.
